Welcome to Jollof & Jambalaya Press, a community-backed, profit-sharing micropublisher of small but potent paperback memoirs by Black food professionals—food writers, chefs, farmers, bakers, and others whose lives are shaped by food. Our books offer seats at the publishing table for food storytellers with roots across the Black diaspora.
Our Vision
Our press proudly uplifts a flavorful sampling of culinary voices, creating a space where personal storytelling encourages a deep appreciation of Black culture and heritage through food. By purchasing our books, readers are directly participating in the economic support and cultural preservation of today’s Black food community, one title at a time.
